Mairood Resort

What a find! This is an amazing place to stay, an oasis within a local and very friendly fishing community. Words can’t describe the beauty of the gardens, animals, birds and pool on the doorstep of your chalet. Chin (the owner) and his staff (Moo xx) endeavour to ensure you have the best time ever. They could not have been more hospitable, knowledgeable and helpful. The food was excellent. We have never eaten all our meals in a homestay but each night he cooked a superb food often suggesting a dish after asking what we might like. Walkways through the village to Chin’s, the river with all the boats and shops, truly an experience. We want to say more, all positive, just don’t know where to start or stop. We have visited Asia on many occasions This was the best! Thank you so much Chin, see you again!

This is a lovely resort well outside of Thailand's well-known places. If you like peace and quiet, this is a place for you. There are some stunning beaches nearby. The owner has been very friendly and accommodating. If I were to come to the area again, I would stay here again.
